Not sure how many people here know or have a GTX, but I figured I'd giver a shot.
I pulled apart my GTX tranny the other day since it blew up on me a few months ago. Everything inside looks awesome, it was supposedly rebuilt before I got it and it definatly shows that it has been.
But the center diff is what blew apart on me. All the spider gears are little bits of metal now. So what I'm wondering is if they can be replaced or do I need a complete center diff?
I'm not a tranny expert but I rebuild rotary engines so I figured why not give it a shot
I'm also wondering if anyone has a spare tranny I could buy...wouldn't hurt to have extra parts.
Let me know! Thanks
Joe
