    Salt

It's no wonder cars rust here, I just read in the paper that Ottawa used over 220.000 tons of salt this winter on the roads.

Holy sh-it! That's insane haha, damn salt...i swear everyone should have to buy a set of snow tires. This way the towns could get away with just plowing the roads, and lightly salting the highways (just due to the higher speeds)

most people in the US seem to be of the opinion that they dont need snow tires.... all seasons are fine, thats why they are called all seasons, right? *sigh*

i lol at 4wd's stuck in ditches as i cruise by in my escort with my studded snow tires . but i'm also often terrified to be on the road with these people...

You and me both are terrified to be on the road with these nuts, they think that they get a 4WD and then think they can carry on like they do in summer. You see them go bombing past boot to the tin, there is nothing sweeter than seeing the stupid bastards upside down in a ditch couple miles down the road scratching their nuts wondering what went wrong.

that is the same reason I don't ride, nothing worse than a good biker getting tagged by a drunk redneck

500lbs of rider and sport bike can't possibly hope to win against a drunk redneck in a 4000lbs 4x4
