lx ecu not familiar with miata cams?

    lx ecu not familiar with miata cams?

    my bp was rebuilt with 99 miata cams and solid lifters i was wondering if its because ecu doesnt kno i have these cams? my low end power is still missing
    do i need to use miata ecu? whats difference between bp and miata bps?

    and othr question do i have to torque the head again? i ve been notcing oil leak between head and block here and there
    swapping into another shell!

    are you boosted? what turbo? boost level?
    what cams did you have before?

          he rebuild it and sold it to me, i guess he couldnt get it running right and we got it closely and sounds perfect and theres low end power missing i just kno i could fix the problem though
          swapping into another shell!

            do you know if he shimmed the cams correctly? its a huge pain and far from being a drop-in swap

              There is nothing wrong with re using head bolts as long as they are within the factory spec. Thats what i've always heard at least and I have reused head bolts several times in different motors with no problems

                It's dumb, because they are TTY bolts. I'll laugh if you can show me some FSM specs for reused head bolts lol.

                  Well it says in the FSM that you can reuse your headbolts if they are within some specs idk what they are of the top of my head but im pretty sure it says something like that

                        then what do i need to do to tune and make it run right, or chipped ecu whatever its called

                        diggin an old thread to see what yall experince was wit the miata cams and trying to figure out what my brother jeremy had been put in this motor tho. I dont even kno if he swapped the whole miata valvetrains and shims?
                        man it getting better alittle by little man i couldnt rev more than redline cuz theres damn limiter but thank god cuz its still fresh motor tho i did a compression test on it

                              I don't think your problem is your cams. It looks like its the motor with those low ass comprtession numbers.
