    Some autotragic questions

Wondering what sort of power can I push with an auto trans? Think a slightly above stock gtx setup would blow it? Should I just build a 10.0:1 motor? I doubt I can leaVe the bg game. It's just to fun and ill need a car one day when I go back to work so why not hook the mofo up?

No idea. Go for it and find out. Autotragics seem to have some headroom in them as long as they're kept cool.

megasquirt offers a transcontroller. or piggyback an MS on an auto ECU

btw denis made good power on a stock EGT trans using a level10 stall converter and a cooler iirc.

ya Denis had a crazy setup! I miss that guy haha.

He was running boost, and nitrous through the thing...lol crazy SOB.

but ya, all he did was rebuild the auto trans (i think) and did the stall converter and cooler like Shawn said. I'm sure he ran a thicker fluid through the trans as well...at least I would...lol

I won't be going for huge numbers like him. Just a small snail for fun runs. Didn't want to get into big money because well I'll be on a limited budget.

If you don't want to spend money it probably wouldn't work to well. I went through my automatic in like 5-6 months on a N/A bp. But hey, prove me wrong. I'd love to see a boosted BP with an automatic. But it may be slightly disappointing as you've always had manual bp's, and manual-automatic is a HUGE difference in these cars as far as power is concerned.

for the record, i went thru 2 F series trans drag racing my 323 with 119whp but both times it was the diff pin that gave out and back then I did N00bstyle heavy burnouts
