What would be the simplest way to replace steering fluid?

Today I was told that my Mazda Protege has dirty steering fluid and was offered to change it for 89 CAD. OUCH!!!
Is there a simplest way to replace it (at least partially until summer), outside (on my drive-way) with -10C outside (it is a winter in Canada already).

    Thanks

no real "easy" way . undo the line and blow it out ( into a container) with low pressure compressed air . or .. a turkey baster but tbh unless you dip your finger in it and it feels gritty it can wait till spring. all the oil change shops use a vac-extractor which will MAYBE get about 30% of the fluid out

Never did it, but I figure you remove the return line, stick it in a container, start the car and turn the steering wheel from one end to the other... should spit it all out...

Manual would tell you...found it: 0.85 US quarts or, you being Canadian, 0.8 litres!
And actually the engine doesn't need to be running...
