was supposed to get my new protege yesterday but the guy got stuck at work a few more days, hopefully this weekend. either way i dont really care its safe and sound in his heated garage out of the elements...lol...
Going to test my TPS and try to find a wrench to swap my o2 sensor for a spare 4 wire I have tomorrow...got to get this thing running 100% lol...figured at least one category of the car can be considered finished...
I haven't bothered to wire in the CEL for the GTX ECU...I should though lol...I just test the usual stuff out depending on the problem it's giving me.
TPS was out of wack though, it had a dead spot in it so the idle switch wasn't working I guess...haven't taken it for a test drive with the new TPS (it's been adjusted) but it already idles smoother...time will tell.
Also checked my o2 sensor out and it's sitting around .3v and doesn't move lol...new sensor time for me.
PlaidBombed my interior. Well, last night I started it... Pics later. So far I have 3 different plaid materials, and a total of 8 pieces covered. I plan on covering everything I can in the interior, because it really quiets any rattles, and looks sick.
Oh, and to the best my knowledge, PlaidBombing isn't really a thing... YET. I searched all night after doing it, I may have started something.

Might want to check out the vw scene, pretty sure they have been putting plaid on **** forever. I look forward to seeing pictures. Sounds neat.
just topped off the oil/coolant... nothing big today.
Debating on putting in the stock LX swaybar instead of the ZX2 1" the swaybar endlink to the strut design is significantly more efficient & its noticeable
Still have to burn off some loose threads, and I think I'm going to redo the piece around the HVAC panel, but this is where it is so far. I plan on picking up some more patterns on saturday, because the thrift store is 50% off then. These are all shirts so far. The fabric stores didn't have **** for plaid, and I didn't want to shop for fabric online. For now, I plan to cover stuff until I love it, or, hate it... I think I will cover every hard plastic surface, as well as the dashboard itself. If it turns out too crazy, I have a super clean spare interior to swap in if I have to.
Oh, and I picked up front mudflaps, to match the rears finally. Just have to paint-match them and throw 'em on.
