Removed cone filter and adapter, installed the OE airbox, and modified it so the K-code would fit, cut the bottom that dips down in the fender well open for good airflow.
Slightly less noise, but deeper tone. Power feels exactly the same. Ordered some aluminum pipe to replace my torn intake pipe and make the H-box a straight through pipe.92 Mazda MX3 GS> For sale, $1750 OBO

Installed new(reman) Wanger loaded front calipers From Rock Auto $15.94 each and no core charge! Pads alone would have been $20 locally. For $10 more bucks new calipers was the only way to go. Got the new master on too.

I finally replaced my starter with a Ford one that is, dont ever make that mistake, works though. I had noticed that I was leaking some oil after i did an oil change couple weeks back. turned out to be the dam oil sending unit was leaking. so I put some teflon on it. All this work to find out that the stupid starter was much larger than the previous one and it was a tight fit between the two. after I repaired the oil sending unit leak, it decided to take a dump!!! ugh. just got another one and now all is good.... hopefully lolAnyone knows what 9K rpm feels like? I do

Just added 600km to the BG, dropped off some KL stuff with Chris (Damkid) and visited some friends before hand. Averaged at 36.5mpg...not too bad considering I'm having a couple intermittent issues.-Jack
