What's all wrong with it other than the exhaust manifold being off the car still?

That and the bumper. The bumper is going to wait till I find some hood vents, so the hood bumper and side skirts can all be painted at once. I'm just worried that if I get the manifold on I'll be tempted to drive it.sigpic

I figured out my DD protege GT when lowered and with a spoiler makes for a perfect snow plow!
So its now off the road for the winter.
Seeing I still need a car I found a bone base model 323.
1.6 SOHC Auto box . Pretty solid . But has a mystery water Leak into the back hatch area.
$600 bones . Turn key and drive. Didn't have to do a thing
to it.Last edited by 323Permin; 12-23-2012, 05:36 PM.

I bought mine back today. The dude let her go to hell over the last few years. It'll be a fun process bringing her back to life.
Besides being filthy, the manifold is cracked, the clutch is shot, all the struts are blown, and he left the hood unlatched and went for a drive at one point. I'm on the lookout for a 94 hood now. Oh, and the shifter fell through the floor. Time to try out the how-to for that now.

yo dudes, need help diagnosing this ****ing thing.
ripped on it into third from a light, car was running awesome. 1/8th mi later, no power in any gear, came to a stop and died. would start, idle for a second, and die, especially if I tried to give it any throttle. basically acting like a blown charge pipe or the AFM was unplugged. ~10 minutes later, starts up and runs fine, though now it sounds like someone dumped a bucket of bolts in the cylinder head. probably the HLAs telling me to get ****ed
didn't have a chance to look at it yet because a) it was dark and b) I would have been late to work, but does anyone have an idea of what the **** happened?sigpic
