The core of the keman mod is the cutting of the factory air box as shown in the how to. That's where most of the gains come from. The upper intake resonator delete is optional. It will add more hp, though. Zxtuner used to make an aluminum upper resonator delete, and it actually looked ok. But if the reason for upgrading is for the strut bar, I don't think you would be able to get away with just deleting the upper resonator, as it still keeps the factory intake elbow from the throttle body.

Left it ditched 30 miles outside of town yesterday after the ignition switch took a **** on me. Got a ride to buy a new one this morning and swapped them out. Drove it back into town and not an hour after I parked it some dirtbag backed into it. Bumper, Hood, Grill, and drivers side headlight are all fubared. And I parked out in BFE!

Hood is creased, Bumper cover is gouged, Headlight bracket is broken, and clearly in need of a new grill. At least ive got Familia/Laser front end parts sitting at home. Just need to get them painted and source some KH Laser headlights. And do a CF hood setup sooner than I had anticipated.

I relieved fuel pressure and started disconnecting stuff from the intake manifold. Didn't get far. I was mostly working on a Subaru.1990 Protege 4WD

This is what happens when a Escort rearends a Honda Pilot and the trailer hitch gets it good.
This is what happens on an impulsive buy, when you need transportation while fixing above Escort.
Hardest thing to replace on the escort is going to be the core support since all the spot welds need to be drilled out and the new one carefully aligned. So now I have a '02 WRX wagon w/5-speed. Got the car for 3k below book value, so I can fix it and still be below book and resell it if I decide to. Right now I want to keep it, but have no clue whether I will keep and fix the escort, fix and sell, or just strip it and scrap it.

i do way to much on saturday and a little on sunday.
removed manual windows and door harness
installed power windows and new harness
rewired my alarm actuated power door locks
retucked all my alarm wires
all that after carpeting two speaker boxes. made for a long day. roughly 9-10 hours.
sunday was just a clean up and organize day.
