The motor pissed out the oil from the pcv, the bay is covered in oil... it also smoking from the pcv.... it happened last night .... now im not sure what to do with it...
I got the protege back on the road today. Still needs struts, alignment, and figure out what's loose in the suspension (if it isn't the blown struts making the noise). I can't wait to crank the boost back up and freshen up the tune.
Btw, I'll be parting out my BPT mx3 RS in the coming weeks. Is there anything anyone needs? I'll make a proper thread shortly, but I'll accept dibs on some things.
Took my rack off, put on mx3 steering wheel. Also grabbed a mx3 rear tie bar, black carpet, and aftermarket front strut tower bar. Left to right my brothers 95 s, moms 93 lx, buddys 91 dx my 93 gt, and my sisters 92 se.
Sounds like all of your compression is going into the crankcase. Time to build it and throw a Holset on it?
Im going to take out the motor thiss weekend... it needs a rebuild for sure since the motor has gone thru hell lol... im looking for a rebuild kit but idk which one to get.... and a holset would be nice...
ah damn dude, sorry to hear! I just use http://www.eristicgaskets.com/ they're on ebay as well, most use ACL bearings and I've seen a few use NPR rings, but I'd call Mazda about rings. Think she'll need pistons? I've got some minty n/a ones up north I can get my hands on if you need a set...lmk
ordered up SS 304 tubing to build new front strut housings for the 323.....
threw an outer tie rod on the mx3.
and performed a ghetto alignment on a friends BG (had toe out issues)
