Just get someone in the states to buy it and ship it to you. Throw them a few bucks for the effort, and you're still ahead.
I just got home with my BG, noticed my exhaust was sounding really horrible as I rounded the last few bends. Checked for leaks, and found my manifold leaking... Again.
No, the welds aren't broken again, but either the manifold studs have backed out of the head, or the nuts came loose. This is twice now. The first time I just figured I forgot to torque them properly, but this time I know with 100% certainty they were proper tight.
When I installed them, I slathered on a good layer of anti seize compound, as they tend to get rusty. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking I should just take off the nuts and add a lock washer. I should have checked if it was the studs themselves, or just the nuts. Didn't think of it at the time, just wanted the leak to stop.
safety wire?

re: the manifold loosening: Mechanical lock nuts are good for this... I can't remember what thread pitch they are, but I know my Volvo used them, but were really pricey. I was tipped that the BMW nuts are better metallurgically speaking, and ended up getting some from a friend who worked at a dealer for free. but the problem of them coming lose went away when I started using those nuts.
What did I do? hmm... removed the timing belt sprocket from the crank (or was that the day before?) and loosened up a few bolts to prepare to change the water pump. Test-fitted my Familia/Interplay bumper. It makes just a wee bit more room for the FMIC to fit But, it got damaged when the clip was sent over, so I'm going to have to be creative in making the mounts work properly. Plus I think I'll have to remove the "inside" bumper mounting bracket on each frame stub, because I think I'm going to plumb my intake through there, instead of underneath.

Mazdanoob! Glad you found the OEM alternative lol, I was going to probe you about what o2 wire your wideband used just for that reason.
Durwood, I run lock washers on my exhaust manifold and it's held up great, I've even removed it twice without any ill effect....does the car vibrate much at idle btw? lol
today i tinted my windows, got 3 of the 4 sides done, im dreading the back window, as its curved and stuff. also painted my NOS sideskirts, ill hopefully mount em tomorrow.

No, but I got a parcel slip in the mail yesterday, so it could be them.
So much for 6-10 business days. Should have sent it normal instead of priority.
