Well...I don't really think I would use JB weld there... if your hinges are stiff, it will only last a short time (opening and closing and sh#t)...but it's not like the hood will fly off...I just don't like JB weld...don't trust it...91 GT- Li'l Bee (under construction)

Jb weld can hold up to anything if you do it right. I've used it to held my race car's radiator support in placee when it got ripped apart after a wreck and my grandpa's welder was out of oxygen. (the welding shop was closed for the weekend) It lasted through the race despite pushing and shoving. But I did replace it with real welds the week after the race. Another interesting thing I've used jb weld for was to seal the high pressure fuel nipples on top of the tank. Mine were rusted real bad and got disturbed during tech inspection and the nipple blew off the top of the tank's pump assembly, causing the gas to go everywhere. I took jb weld and jb welded the nipple back on and it held it on! It did start to leak after 100 laps but it held the nipple on and I was able to finish the race. But keep in mind that the fuel pressure is over 50psi, so I thought that was amazing that it held at that pressure. lol.
But, after saying that, yes, pop rivets might be a better way of doing it as it is a more permanent way of doing it.My family has lots of bg's!

^^ I'd go with rivets and JB weld. Not too much stress there.
I put my summer shoes on today, took apart and cleaned my BOV, and put insurance back on it. It was fantastic to take it for a spin today.
My clutch is acting up, I hope it's just air in the line. It was a little screwy before I put out away for the winter, as I let the fluid get too low. I figured over the course of a couple months it might fix itself. It didn't, and I forgot about it completely until today.
I've heard different things about the master and slave cylinders, can someone confirm for sure if the regular 2WD BP parts will work or not?sigpic

I washed the GTR, man what a difference a little water will make! Still some detailing to do (door sills, engine bay, other) but a major improvement for sure. I also installed the A-pillar trim Bogaut sold me, so the car is looking awesome!
The only bad news is that this is the first time I've washed the car since picking it up in January so I got to discover all the little imperfections in the paint oh and the soon-to-be hole on the back end of the drivers side! Damn.
