Installed the Addco 7/8" sway bar on my zx2. Those d bushing brackets were so difficult.

New clutch in the bg. Damn act 6 puck was down to rivets and ate into the flywheel pretty good.
New normal exedy is really quick and smooth to engage. Speedo isn't working right now though. I ether didn't set the hardline in the speed sensor proper or I broke another line. Probably the one going into the cabin. Not looking forward to fixing it.
And after replacing TB gasket and adjusting the stopper on it I'm not getting a nice 850ish rpm consistently.
Also replaced my Hodge-podge passenger axle with one that fits from the factory. It's an empire axle and it looks pretty beefy.Beater=/= Sleeper

Smoked the Zetec in the essar... I had hoped to limp it through the winter with crankwalk, but I believe it done walked away. Dropped a few cylinders on the way home from work friday, and it started making an awful racket. We'll see what the cause might be when I teardown, but that may be a month or two. I guess I'll keep the 92 for a daily. I've got a spare 1.9 for it, actually a spare everything except transmission. I'd prefer not to spend any money on either of them until maybe August, since I have a bunch of stuff I still want to do with the 95...
First things first, I need to source a KL bellhousing for the Helical-KL/ZX2 transmission build, and a few more tools for the front clip build. I may try to build a new front K-member to sort out some steering and geometry flaws as well. I figure since I'm doing this stuff for customer cars, why not do it for myself too!Current:

86 MR2
91 F150
94 Escort Wagon BP swap

00 Miata LS

I AM going tube front Jorge, half for the weight savings, geometry correction and chassis stiffness, halfway for easy access for quick repairs. Really it's kinda for marketing for our shop, and my skill sets. I'm working on the design right now before I head out to watch the Bronco's stomp the Seagulls in the superbowl.
And yes to a FSVT. I want a 5door eventually, maybe to replace the S/R and the 92 next fall.Current:

Fun fact, if you order a new speedo cable you need to order both a new upper and lower because for some reason Mazda changed the connectors at some point and time.
I should of just ordered both the begin with as 200k+ mile metal rotating assembly's are going to break eventually.
Oh my CEL came on too. I don't think that's ever happened save the one time i had a plug come off from something. Haven't checked the code yet but I assume its along the lines of "code holy ****:no ****ing speed input, good luck driving"Beater=/= Sleeper
