"There's a hierarchy of insanity in motor sports. Normal people think all racers are crazy. Folks who race sedans think people in open-wheel cars are nuts. People who race cars of any kind think motorcycle racers are absolutely off theirs meds. But there's one group that everyone agrees is made up of the most extreme, the most daring, and absolutely craziest people in racing - rally racers."

bolted the trans back to the motor.. attempted putting the passenger side motor mount on to secure it, but that was being difficult. figured it's not necessary to have it while bolting getting ready for the rest to come out.
Drained trans fluid
Noticed i don't have a socket large enough for the hub nut.
Tried to unbolt the tie rods from the spindle so i can swing it out of the way with the axle attached.
Regardless of how it looks on paper, it's still progress. slow, slow progress1992 Ultra Blue Metallic EGT - The 'scort with no name - crap>reliable daily>rallycross prep>stage rally

Trouble shot BG horn not working. Determined it was the clock spring pretty easy, Thought it was just dirty contacts at first. But it was a dry joint.
After re-flowing it up I broke it trying to get it back in.
Had to solder all 3 of them after that.
Potted/Jbwelded the **** out of it after that. No vibration or ham handedness will break this guy.
Clockspring benches fine, so unless I botched something in the reinstall everything should work fine.
I think this should also fix the Cruise control issue I had where I would have to really wail on the buttons from time to time.Beater=/= Sleeper

Clock spring worked great.
In looking for a gasket for the manifold air valves I found out there are different part numbers for the valves themselves between ATX and MTX
BP0513190A MTX
BP0613190A ATX
Really SUBTLE difference in the part numbers.
I think this might be a good solution for people that have a bad cold idle with a turbo setup(like I did previously), and wouldn't be surprised if the ATX on doesn't come on the turbo'd cars factory.
And for reference the gasket part number are
Intake mani air valve rubber gasket B6S713ZC7
Throttle body IAC rubber gasket B55113W89Beater=/= Sleeper

the inner support structure of my hood apparently has told me to go **** myself, since it's no longer bonded to the skin very well and is starting to wear a groove into the Iceman.
used some two-part epoxy to glue the hood/my fingers together, and wrapped the intake pipe with some of that silver thermal tape while I was at it.
also got my Trust magnetic oil drain plug in the mail todaysigpic

put some heat barrier on the inside of the garage door to try and keep the car warm (and me while in their). pretty lame. i'm feeling like it may have been a waste of money.. oh well...

doesn't look like there is any insulation to that crap ^^ they make foil backed r3 & r6 in my region that is commonly used for wrapping duct piping. but works great to insulate garage doors---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

No difference than a damn heat reflector on the windscreen of a car on a sunny day.. Found this over at HomeDepot. Will consider it once payday comes around again..
