I guess mine were "before tax and shipping" haha. Still a good list of parts though, nothing looked over that's for sure.

One there is a faulty beat down lifter.
Two on the B8 you MUST prime each lifter if it has been bled down, otherwise it will clack like you never would believe.
Three, Fel-Pro makes a gasket that actually seals on its own. FEL-PRO Part # VS50389R PermaDry

Engine now quiet, and not a drop of oil showing, yay.

replaced the alternator belt finally. discovered a crack in the exhaust manifold, decided to take it around the block anyway. first gear, basically nothing happened, punched it in second, nothing again, was about to let off when the turbo changed its mind and the car couldn't make up its mind whether it should follow the crown of the road or torque steer into a tree.

                          ****ing awesome.

I'd take the crown any day over a tree Matt. Maybe soon, I will know what that feels like ... I'm on vacation starting wednesday at 4:00pm. Think I'll take it to the track for another N/A baseline ET attempt wednesday night. Emissions on thursday, camping thursday night-sunday, turbocharge monday, tune tuesday, and back to work wednesday. Hopefully 7-8PSI 1/4 mile times on street tires that wednesday night...?

it's a little bit harder to counter when the car can't make up its mind.

                              street tires = wheelspin, fyi

Oh I know, on both counts. I expect the ****tiest 60' time EVER, and I'm sure the open diff will really assist the vehicle in maneuvering itself into the wall or centerline as it pleases

Oh, And I am planning my next build as we speak, it'll be correct wheel drive though.
