    mazda bg 323 conversion

    Looking for advise on following.
May be this is a stupid question but im new to cars…
Can i use newer car model engine , gearbox, ECU, power steering rack. (all the major parts) with mazda 323 bg dohc efi (1500cc and yom 1992).
If possible, please let me know models of mazda cars.
    Ex.
    Mazda 323 (1995-2003)
*.do i need to modified engine bay?
    Reason for looking above..
Car is more than 20 years old (mazda 323 hatchback yom 1992) .but still i like my car. Yes i know this is wasting money and time. But looking for minimum modifications to apply above

    need your valuable comments..

Anything is possible with enough money to blow on it.

That said, you're looking to try something that would require lots of modification and money spent to not really gain very much. You're better off spending money on improving what you have or just buying the more modern vehicle. There's a reason why there aren't many exotic swaps done to BG cars beyond a BP 1.8 or V6 swaps. It's just not worth it.

      There's FS series engines, FE3 and F2T as well...I've seen some 4G63 swaps, and I think someone's working on a 3SGTE swap.

So yea, lots can fit in, we have the room, just need the budget.

People more often want to swap those out of the car they came in, rather than into something that it didn't. lol Has there ever been a roadgoing BG with an FS swap?
