I was wondering if there is anyway to remove the strut perch and thrust bearing without using a spring compressor? The reason is I'm going to the junkyard tomorrow to pull some 97+ escort perches so I don't have to modify my stock ones for the ZX2 S/R's. Any help would be appreciated.

Today if I can get the perches. Plus I'm getting my 205/50-15's mounted on fan blades, and eventually an alignment.
BTW- should I wait to get an alignment done? Do the springs have to settle or something?
edit: Did you know the rear H&R's are progresive, seems weird that only the backs are.Last edited by BPower; 08-02-2005, 11:40 AM.1992 Mazda Protege LX w/Primer spots
