    EGT rear suspension

    I am debating on getting the whole rear suspension out of a Escort Gt the whole thing for the 323 What differences do i need to look for I know that its in the same chassis family but would it be a improvement from the Protege DX setup i Have now besides the rear disk brakes?

            95-96 have adjustable lower control arms on both sides, 94 may as well, i don't remember.

              My 92 Protege dx has adjustable lower arms, I suppose EGT all have it...

                  if you do get it, rape the e-brake cable... its different between drums/discs.
                  The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

                    no. from 91-93 escort rear lcas were adjustable on one side only, gt or not. it may be different for 323/proteges, i've honestly never looked under one.

                      twin trapizodal links **** front & rear i've noted that all true BG's have at least the Rear TTL adjustable, now folks are claiming that the EGT's have the front TTL adjustable on both sides as well as the rears??

                          lol i got confused.... i was under the impression that someone thought the front TTL's were adjustable on the later escorts...

                            there is no front TTL... there's a lower control arm. That's it.

                              he's still talking about the rear suspension, he's refering to the rear control arm as the *front TTL* and the adjustable as the *rear TTL*

                              or better wording might be *the leading rear TTL* and *the trailing rear TTL*
