    Info disk rear Breaks

    Hi

    My protege 94 have brake band in the rear so i like to know if anyone know if i could change for disk brakes. If i have to do a conversion or something. I appreciated your respond thanks.

    Find a LX protege and grab all the rear brake hardware , proportioning valve and E-brake cable. Using the search button will get you the info you are looking for as this has been discussed 100 times.

        4 bolts hold the k-member up, 2 bolts hold each strut on, 2 brakes lines, 1 bolt for each control arm, along with e-brake cables and proportioning valve on the firewall and u got urself rear dist brakes

          Never heard of dist brakes , this some kind of newfangled contraption you want to let us in on ?

            disk, u know what i mean. i got to excited cuz i did my rear "dist" conversion AND remembered how i did it.
