I am actually looking for the smallest OE FSB for a BG chassis...
Yea, DX Protege. It's the smallest I know of and hollow on top of that. The only other "swaybar" that would be less bar rate than the DX bar is the ST bar that mounts under the control arms.
My family has lots of bg's!
2003 Ford Escort ZX2: Project car/future daily driver. Built Ford Tough (With Mazda Stuff)
1999 Escort ZX2: Daily driver/beater. Going to be replaced by the '03 next summer.
2000 Escort ZX2 S/R: bought wrecked, going to use as parts car
1992 Protege LX: My old race car. Just a wrecked shell right now. Waiting for scrap to go up so that I can get rid of it.
1992 Mazda 323: Race car
1992 Escort Gt: My grandpa's old race car
1994 Escort GT: My grandpa's new race car.
Parts cars; 1993 Escort Gt, 1995 Escort lx
3rd gen (FD) RX-7 brake booster is a direct swap for all BG models
1st gen Mazda 6 rotors are a direct replacement for GTR discs
MX-6 wheel bearings for GTR hubs
Mazda Millenia rotors are a 4mm thicker upgrade for the GTR, requires minimal shaving of the knuckle (very beefy spot) to clear the rotor. You can use stock GTR pads/calipers but you need to shave 2mm from each pad to make room for the rotor
Mazda Millenia calipers are an upgrade for the GTR, direct fit, larger pads and 2-pots, but no ready-in-box performance pads available on the market.

Wow that's really good. This is all four corners? Five lug swaps just started looking more affordable.
1990 Protege 4WD
GT-X BP26 swap [AT->MT]|Cup holder cut to fit|Synthetic gear oil|Synthetic brake fluid|Corksport SS brake/clutch lines|Mazdaspeed HV oil pump|GT-X front STB|Corksport type I rear STB|Matching full-size spare wheel|Homebrew Brass shifter bushing|Speed Source brass shifter cable bushings|EDM headlights/corners|FMIC|EDM cabin vents
I believe the Millenia upgrade is only applicable for the front brakes. I'll grab front/back sets when I hit up PaP tomorrow, if they have a Millenia sitting there, and confirm this myself. I've long suspected 929/Millenia donated suspension bits to the GTR. I know 626 struts fit the GTR, though they raise the ride height an inch or so. I'm just not sure if the USDM version of the car got the same hardware. I have a 92+ Probe GT front strut sitting in my garage, I'll check it out when we drop both subframes from the GTR this weekend.
there are 3 different sized rotors on the 1st gen mazda6. 03-05, 06-08, and the mazdaspeed6 all have different rotors.
I think both versions fit, but I don't know of anyone trying the Mazdapeed 6 rotors, yet.
Visually, the TT FD RX-7 and the GTR brake boosters appear to be the same. An upgrade to everything but the GTR. I didn't pay much attention to the master cylinder or the brake lines though. I'll snap some pictures when Andrew comes back either tomorrow or Monday.
Don't have any rear 626/mx-6/probe gt struts to compare my GTR struts to, hopefully I have another solid day of progress and drop the front sub frame tomorrow to compare the front struts.
Alright guys, cause you can never be too redundant when looking at yarde parts.
MX3 rear TTLs only need to grab the four lateral links correct? There isnt a different offset with the wider track trailing arms correct?
MX3 front control arms.
These do not need to be GS just MX3 correct? I keep seeing the yay/nay arguments, can someone be kind and crawl under their vehicle with a tape measure and a digi cam and take a few shots.
If not I'll just measure a few cars at PNP.
Going to make a run to the local PNP tomorrow(1/2 off) just want to make sure I'm not grabbing fools gold with the non GS MX3 bits. If someone has an actual measurement that would be swell. TIA
