        I am reviving this thread since i discovered another small benefit of the RX-7 balljoint.

        It appears the other small benefit of the balljoint is that it moves the pinch point up on the stud effectively moving the entire balljoint end down about an 1/8" and thereby helping to correct a small amount of roll center on a lowered car. Its not much but it helps.

          i didn't notice that, but i am running RX7 balljoints with 3rd gen escort spindles on my 95 egt right now. worked perfectly

                              say... what year RX7 Balljoint?

                              I have to put my GT away today for the winter as I think my inner tie rods are fried... so I'll go ahead and install a depowered MX3 GS rack. I'll yank the larger spindles from my 95 and install them on the GT as well.

                                larger ball joint

                                I know that my 93 GT has the smaller ball joints. they changed to the larger ones in 94 (end of 93).

                                Can anyone remind me of which year MX3 GS the rack needs to come out of?
