lowest offset for deep dish rims on the protege

I have a 92 lx with some 17x7's on it right now with 215/40/17 rubber and my tires fill up the wheel well flush with my 2.5 drop, looks clean. But i want to slam my car, i mean still low enough where it can be daily driven. I plan on buying some Drag dr20 in 15x7 but my question is, To get the biggest lip, what offset should i get? i like the way 15x7 +10 looks! but will it work?

+10 or 15 should work but will stick out depending on the tire you choose. If you like the stretched look, pick some mild stretch.

        FWIW, a 16x8 with 0 offset and 225 tires will stick out....a lot. On your 15x7s, I'd go with a 195 or 205 tire.

on my bf i tried on a 15x8 sportmax 002 with 0 offset. it was on a 205 tire. i didnt even get my car all the way off the jack and the tire buckled the fender a little.
