so you're looking for something more than an oem replacement? like kybs, or SRs?

Tokico blues would be your best bet then really, since there's not much out there for our cars lol.

            4 door VS a 323 is light/day in handling

do yourself a huge favor if you liked that ride before. use GR2's & the same springs
now days S/R's are the same price pretty much. GR2's are a better ride all around

in that case GR2's are drastically cheaper.

you could use zx2 GR2's if you wanted frog

I went from sr struts to kyb gre because 3 of the srs blew within 2 yrs. The kyb struts are way better IMO. Got zx2 fronts and protege rears just because I didn't have the front protege bearing and perches plus it came out cheaper. 285 and lifetime warrentied

The S/R's are a damn fine strut. I've had them with Ground Controls since the early part of 2007. None of them are blown and the car is daily driven through New England winters and horrible frost heaves/potholes. I don't even have dust boots on them.

They do seem to be a little finicky about car height though, too low and it feels like the car is skipping through turns.
