    Front brake question

Are the front brakes the same on both the 25th anniversary (GT) Pro and the SE? I am aware that the rear is discs on the GT and drums on the SE. I just replaced the rotors, pads and calipers on the SE and am hoping I can put it onto the GT when I get it.

doubtful, i'm pretty sure the SE comes with the smaller front brakes, so the spindle, rotor, pads and front caliper bracket would be different.

the only thing that would swap over would be the flex lines and the caliper piston section, not the front bracket (marked 22-14)

there's a new company on ebay in ontario with cheap pads (ceramics too) for like $30 front and $25 rear, and premium rotors dirty cheap right now too. I quoted $120 for my friends 2000 accord brakes front to back! that's shipped!

The answer is no. The pads are a touch bigger for the GT's and LX's. If you wanted to put pads for a GT or an LX (14" wheels) onto an SE or 13" wheels, you would need to grind about 3MM off the plates so they"ll fit.

So in essence you maybe could use the pads from the SE, but forget the rotors evidently... and as for the calipers, I'm sure they are a bit bigger on the GT or LX. That being said Don't they both have the same markings on them? VJ22 or something like that?
