Thanks Sarge, that sums it up nicely. I am contemplating putting these on my ZX2 but I think it's a bit of a waste on the auto since it's rarely driven spiritedly.

hmm, interesting. I was reading someone's build thread yesterday (can't remember the screen name) but he had the brakes/knuckles/hubs from a 1st gen Probe/MX6 in the car, which might be another option- if I remember correctly, the front brakes can be further upgraded to those from a Mazda 6.

yeah, you'd have to go with 5-lugs, but that's not such a big deal

My new setup all bolted on, have to machine a little more off the dogbone as the caliper just touches the rim (17).

Thats a 330mm rotor, AP5570 calipers on a unmodified GTR/BA astina/626/capella hub. Any BG 2 or 4wd could use this. You dont neccecarily have to be 5 lug/stud

Wait... those calipers bolted to the hub without mods or brackets??? Really???

Dammit. I wish I could find 4pots that'd fit under 15" without going through hell to get it done.

They use dogbones Jay, those calipers are radial mount. So i have machined dogbones to bolt onto the GTR hubs and the calipers bolt to them.

Im trying to stuff 17x9's and 255's under mine. Have set the ride height and working on getting my proflex modified to sit at the correct height. Going to cut more out of the guards and try and get it a inch lower than this..... Using bolt on fender flares

Jay, I'm almost positive K-sport makes a 6-pot 11" brake kit for the GTR. And I thought I read somewhere they fit under 15" rims. I'll see if I can find that out.

Edit: Found them: http://www.ksport.co.uk/order.asp?id=232&loc=2 <- for whatever reason, it does not say anything about the minimum size of wheels on that site, but...
http://www.k-sportracing.com/products.html <-that site shows that the 286mm(11") discs are good for 15" wheels and above.
