    Brakes no pressure

    Hello

After a lot of help from folks over here I replaced the brake rotor, pads and bled the brakes. I was excited to start the car and test it and then I realized that the brakes have a very good pressure when the engine is off but as soon as I started the engine the brakes started to go to the floor and no pressure at all. Whats wrong and how can fix it quickly. I need this car real bad.

Thanks for all the help. I really appreciate everyone's suggestion.

    With gratitude --S

you bled only your front brakes? did you run out of fluid?

have you checked for leaks at any fittings? piston seal leaking?

No brake Pressure when Engine is on.

      Thanks for the reply.

I bled all the brakes . I did not run out of brake fluid. When I was bleeding I opened the blidder valve one by one and I had help to push the brake pedal down. I will check for leaks and see if I find something or I may do a gravity bleed all over again.

I ran out of fluid initially when I opened the front caliper. I was told to just bleed the brakes and it should fix the problem. THanks

Did you follow the correct order for bleeding? You're supposed to start at the longest line from the master cylinder to the shortest, so LR, RR, RF, LF.

Also are you getting any help bleeding the brakes? Doing it alone might cause room for error, no offence to you...it's just a pain in the ass without speed bleeders.

yea if you ran out of fluid initially you will run into problems lol, it sucks, but just follow the bleeding sequence i just posted and you'll be golden...also find some help if you're doing it solo lol less frustrating

I replaced my master brake cylinder. It was leaking form the inside. After that the brake pedal travel has decreased a little bit.

good call Ivan, that is something to look for as well.

I usually just think of clutch master cylinders for inside leaks lol
