That could happen. I have all next week off from work. And if you'd ever want some help with whatever you're doing I'd be glad to lend a hand. I'm pretty much a beginner at everything, but I learn pretty quick and most of the work (well, mine at least) seems pretty straightforward. As soon as I feel more confident, and have the money, I hope to be doing some engine work and tranny swap.

If i were you i would get the whole subframe so u can clean it up in the process, I did that with my escort. Complete rust removal, new bushings, antiseized the spindle bolts, fresh paint. Will make the car easier to work on later down the road with all the salt they put down. Granted my escort will never see the winter roads, but at least it is half way ready if needed.97 protege dx few mods
