    How's the engine sound?

    Do these clips sound ok? Specifically my car start up. The valve lift noise of the engine irritates me. Ever since the silly mazda dealership messed around w/ it.

    And remember I have an automatic.






    And yes my check engine light is on. Still working on it. It's my o2 sensor.

      Really??

      On cold morning my engine tach starts high (some where between 2k n 1k) then eventually comes down to about 750 rpm. Isn't this what's supposed to happen.

        1996 1.5L Mazda Protege DX MTX
        Mods:
        DX converted to an LX (F & R seats and All Power), 2" Exhaust from the Catback, EuroReverse Glow Gauges, JDM Clear Side Markers, 17" MB Motoring Rims, K&N air filter 33-2134, All Clear Lenses, Front Strut Bar, MS Sideskirts, JDM Taillights, JDM Turbo Diesel Hood Scoop, OEM Door Visors, and Ducktail.

          Maybe his car doesn't rev that high after all. That's why I ended my sentence with a question mark. Since mine is a '95 it could be different. My car is more in the .75 to 1.5 range at startup. Well, then again I bought the car with awful high acceleration and then I made it higher while trying to fix that problem. I eventually brough it down to where it is myself and it's good there. It doesn't give me a hard time to start where it is.
