anyone know where the starter is located on the 98 z5?

Jack the car up. You can't miss it from the botton since it's lower to the ground rather than closer to the top.

in the haynes book it said i had to remove the manifold and the cat and all that, i have my turbo there now and don't want to take it off, will i really have to remove the cat and all or is it right near the tranny? I know where my flywheel is, where is it in relation to that? (i have limited time on tuesday to do this, so i'm just trying to get a good knowledge base together beforehand so I can be sure I get it done)
