Just bought a used 95 lx with stickshift and I'm puzzled about the car bucking once It gets hooked up in first gear unnless I'm accelerating hard right away. The seler tells me thats it's normal and she try to shift into 2nd immediately. Is this true? Ive test driven a ford ZX2 and a late mitsubishi Mirage before this car and I didn't have the same problem. Normally, once Im hooked up in first gear the car runs smooth as long as I maintain a rpm above idel which is about 8-10 miles an hour and just creep along in slow traffic whihout the car bucking violently like my protege. I would appreciate any input on this matter from others on this forum.

And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

i'm tellin ya, 90% chance theres a crack in the main rubber intake tube (probably in the middle on the bottom of it, where its hard to see). your engine is mounted in rubber mounts, so as you start to accelerate, it rocks foreward and the crack opens. this allows unmetered air into the engine so it bogs, then rocks back closing the crack. as soon as it rocks back, it stops bogging and takes off again.. rocking foreward... opening the crack. repeat. this is what causes the bucking... believe me. i just solved this problem on my beater/daily driver car! (hooray for duct tape!)
