A week after i sold my protege to a friend he managed to hit a pole in the first hour denting the hell outta the door, now today it was raining and went through a deep puddle and the engine must had sucked in water through teh CIA and now its locked up. Wont even turn over. I guess the car is mad at me for selling her now she is dead. she had a good run, 192k on her.

Oh yea hes pissed off. but so am i in a strange way, cuz i kinda miss that car, but i am loving the focus, I have already dropped over a grand into it buyin lil things. SVT goodies, wheels, lights, exhaust, suspension is next week.

mine is an 02. 34k miles. GOOD NEWS! Protege is back! we took out the plugs and tried to satr it and water shot out of the plug holes, now she runs great, oil changed and all. MAZDA is a tank!

My wifes was a 2000 zts. It lacked power for a ze-tec and only got 16-18 mpg. A lot of it probably had something to do with the auto slushbox but the car didn't win me over at all. No offence to other focus owners but its just not my cup of tea.
