belt issuess

so basically
i had a belt squeeling like krazy
and i thought it was just cold so ignored it...
cause the squeeling would die as i would start driving

one day i noticed...
my remote starter wasn't working
i would turn it on
it would run for like 10 secondz
and then it wud turn off autommatically
then a few hours later my alternator light comes on in my dash,
pop my hood and the
alternator belt
is shredded to pieces..
i figured it was ware on it
seeing it is a dead belt.. by all the cracks

so i thought the remote starter failed because of alternator failure..



sooo i changed both belts
alternator one
and the other one that goes around the a/c etc.
and my remote starter starts working fine.


now in the last few days
the belt starts squeeling again..
except alot
everytime i accelerate..
when im driving.. slow down a bit.. pulling off
anykind of moving from stop...
squeels like krazy and then the squeeling dies off as i drive faster
now yesterday
my remote starter is giving the same problem again
turn it on.. it idles for a bit.. and then the system shuts off..


any suggestionss?

um, tighten it again? its not a put it on and done job. it will stretch after a short while of running.

i think the tension
on the
alternator belt
izz too tight
i'll get into adjustting that
but thankz for the suggestion
