    ECU 95-96 BH Compatability Problem

My ECU (95 bh auto) is not sending any voltage to my tps or crankshaft sensor.
We have another pro (96 bh auto) so I decided to test that ECU in our 95 pro.

Apparently the 95 pro works just fine with the 96 ECU, Except that it doesn't go into diagnostic mode with our scanner.

The weird part is that the 96 ecu enters diagnostic mode with the scanner only when it's in the 96 pro.

And the 95 pro ECU enters diagnostic mode only when it's in the 95 pro.

    Any clues, inputs or suggestions?

Using Linux for anything serious besides server or software dev is like using a tin can and a string for telecommunications.

I actually managed to get the ECU fixed. Since the open line was on the board it had to be soldered with a blower.

      Thanks for the input.

The 96 ECU is not compatible but thanks for offering. I already had it fixed.
