NO Spark?

i have a 97 protege wit a z5 motor and its not getting any spark all fuses are good and so is the distributor. Heres wat its doing. When you try to start it there is no spark at the rotor and plug wire; but here is the weird part the coil is internal on the 97 and 98 z5's and you can feel the coil get very hot while trying to start it.

should be a way to at least ohm test the coil

I dont know if anyone has taken these distributors apart to replace componants

ya there is a way but its not that i think its the crank sensor we checked it out on graph and its not putting out any signal to the pcm
