ok heres my question, i have a 93 mercury tracer. its a unibody with the 1st gen Proteges. now im looking at getting a 95 Protege that needs a Tranny.
i know the BP used a F series tranny. my mercury has the 1.9L SOHC CVH ford engine. did the CVH also use the F series Tranny? can i take the Tranny from my Tracer and put it in the Protege?
now i found info showing that the CVH also used the F-4EAT transmission. so i should be able to pull my tranny from my 93 Tracer and bolt it up in the 95 Protege?
