    Removal of Plastic Ebrake Handle

Hey guys, is it possible to remove the plastic cover that is the Ebrake handle? I know alot of cars can have theirs removed so aftermarket ones can be put in.

I know with my new grey interior and an aftermarket ebrake boot, it would look extremely nice. Anyone have experience? If not, I may have to go to my friends house and tear up his ebrake handle to see if it'll work lol.

Haha the BP is ALREADY on the road I just haven't taken delivery! The problem was the harness was burnt out. And when My friend tried connecting a HOT wire to ground, it really messed things up and burnt stuff out. So all thats been solved. I even already got the Gray Dash in. All I have to do is install the gray seats and carpets. And the gray seatbelts and install the gray glovebox with my old lock. I got the magnaflow muffler and cat on the way as we speak. I'm also purcahsing grey ichibahn pedals. The mechanic said the car is strong and no hestiation. I spent alot of money but the motor and the tranny both have 30k on it so it will last me along time if i take care of it. He says the clutch is a bit soft because I have that cheap autozone bull**** but Ill change that in a year when this one goes out lol. I'll have to break it in carefuly tomorrow and I might go to the drag strip on saturday if it ru ns, but I won't race it. Well anyways, I'm going to work on my interior and that will include the ebrake. I read in some other cars waht they do is pop out the button and the cover itself should come out, so I will try that on my friends protege on saturday. If its easily removable, I will undoubtly do that when I get 80 bucks. Once the car has been paid off, I will either do suspension or jump in this CF hood gorup buy if its not completed. I got about 2k to pay off the loan lol. It seems alot but its reasonable for all the things done. He had to install a new harness, change all my electrical parts, and he put my ac AND heater core in and change my dash and most interior panels. The 2k of course includes parts I had to buy. So within 3-4 months, I should have it all paid off if i pay 600 dollars a month! If no one has any idea on how to remove the ebrake cover, I will attempt it within the next week or 2.

thats very good news, really hope its easy sailing from hereon for you so you can pay it off and start saving. post pictures of your ride cuz you've changed almost the entire car and the only thing original is the shell and i guess the color of the car? you've swapped out all the interior stuff and the motor and trans so i guess there is nothing more to change.

Well I got the F series tranny lol. I just swapped mine out for better mileage and I don't have an issue changing gears anymore. I used to grind in gears no matter how slow i changed gears and the mechanic had no issue. So other than a few interior parts to swap, my interior is almost complete. I'll get corbeau racing seats by the end of hte summer and ill have an entire system which will include a nice deck, and new speakers, MAYBE one 10 inch sub, i am not sure since I know nothing about audio.

Ok, I'll be picking my car up this weekend. If i take pictures, I will lack a few things like some interior parts. It won't look as good as I want it to yet but I can only do a few things at a time on a big budget.
