    I need a jack handle

I have a 95 protege and realized today I don't have the handle (part you turn to crank it up) to the scissor jack. Pretty annoying when you have a flat.

anyway I checked car-part.com and didn't hit on anything. Any ideas where I can get a jack handle and/or anyone have one sitting around?

    thanks

yes its a screw jack but you need the ~3' handle/hook to create the mechanical advantage necessary for lift.

just use a scredriver or a small pair of pliers... it works... improvise man! that's what us 2nd geners have been doing for some time! improvise!

you have no idea what you are talking about. There is no way you are going to lift the car by using pliers, you need the handle or something of nearly equal length to get the mechanical advantage.

first of all in your first post you said you've never used your jack before and now you're expert. Please take your post whoring elsewhere. Not once have you given ANY insight into the question at hand which is: where to buy a jack handle.

              Move along.

i havent used the stock jack, but i have used other jacks. a handle is a handle. you stick it in and push!

if you can not use a jack with a shorter handle, go to the gym escort is right!
