Where to get codes read on a 95' Protege?

    Where to get codes read on a 95' Protege?

    I went to Advance but they didn't have the correct plug on their scanner. They said they could only read codes on 96' and newer also.

    Where do you guys go (besides the dealer) to get codes read? Check engine is on and stays on though car runs well.

    Yes, Advance and Autozone only have OBD2 readers, but your Mazda requires OBD1 reader, which only auto repair shops have. But you can read your own codes easily on your car. Take a look at this link:
