Need serious help

I am looking for any instance where the 1998 mazda protege's headlights have failed or gone out. i have seen the recall on the 1995 models. i know it takes alot to have a recall. i am in desperate need of finding other 1998 owners who have had headlight failure. please get back to me....

I'm constantly replacing my left bulb in my 98. ****. its out right now even.

Newman - make sure the socket is not burnt up seen it alot when bulbs repeat failure.

I had an issue with one of my headlights goin out all the time. So i just gave it a smack after turning it on. Worked couple times, then it just stopped having issues. This was about a year ago, and its still working and just as bright as the other one.
