    90-94 struts on a 95 DX?

    Hi everyone.
First off I have a 95 DX 5 speed. I bought a set of Lotek struts on ebay but it turns out they're for 90-94 Proteges (the ebay listing was kind of misleading on the mobile app). Can I still use these on my car, or do I need to return them? Thanks in advance

First of all, buying struts off Ebay is a definite No-No. Lotek is a cheap brand, expect them to be worn/shot very soon. Secondly, no. they will not fit. Replace with Tokico or better, you wont be disappointed. You will spend more money on cheap struts down the road than you would on one set of name-brand quality struts.

I've got KYB. Work great. One's blown, but that could be due to improper installation, not the strut itself since the other three are perfectly fine.

Irish, I've used KYB for years. Great products. Every once in a blue moon you'll wind up with a blown part from them, which is like buying a domestic vehicle. Its all manufactured, theres going to be issues sometimes.
