Got my water necks welded up this morning.
Clears the manifold with plenty of room now.
Had to add some length to reach the now further away radiator. Both need cleaned up and painted.

Started working on my xmember again this morning Who needs bushings?? Going solid! This isn't perfect looking.. but you won't really be seeing it. This is the front section that bolts to the radiator valance. More work to go.

^ be weary about the cup/washer design. if you didn't use thick washers that is*** i've had to double up washers in order to have a properly thick surface to weld where the cup wouldn't crack away from the washer.
something to keep in mind.---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

The washer itself is 3mm in thickness. The cup is 2.5mm.

Test fit of the right side. Needs a bit of trimming and tweaking.

that still looks super slick!
do you have a side angle shot of the pipe to level on the cup? any plans to trim the cup for clearance reasons?---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

It looks funky in the pic. The cup is only a tiny hair past the bottom of the valance. The intercooler brackets sit much lower and they have no issues.
