    Engine Swap Questions????

ive searched and searched but havent found a single V6 engine swap done to a 3rd gen protege. i have read threads were ppl statethat the KLZE is a good candidate because of it use in the 626/probe that also uses the FS motor. but i have also heard that the SVT contour V6 will also fit with minimal modification to the trans/drive train... i am very interested in completing the swap because i want something different than a turbo, even if it costs more and develops less power for the money. so any info would be greatly apprieciated...thanx

it hasen't been done, because its not even close to cost effective, either of these swaps would cost too much time, and money to even make it an option, ad year about the svt contour engine, yeah dream on.

From what I understand it just wont fit becuase our engine bay is too small. I recall one guy saying that there would have to be way too much cutting of the fire wall for it to fit.
