Newbie Question - Rattling when engaging first gear

When the car is really cold and I start driving the car, letting out the clutch in first gear causes the car to shake and rattle. It feels like the clutch is not catching very well.

After the car warms up, I don't notice the problem anymore. Can someone tell me what causes this and what I should do?

    Thanks!

check for cracks in the intake hose, this is very common and can cause the symptoms you describe due to the vacuum leak it creates.

There was a TSB on this back in about 2002.5, they replace your clutch with a redesigned one, on into your dealership and tell them the cars simptems and they should be able to book you in and correct the issue
