Hook up a supercharger to the engine, but instead of letting the engine labour away turning it...have a pet monkey inside the engine way use one hand to fan the intake pipes (sort of like an intercooler) and the other hand of the monkey would turn the driveshaft of the supercharger? You could even use the flammable methane the monkey produces to use as NOS.
