I don't know if I'm posting in the good place, but, I wanna now if anyone in there had tried to remove this ugly metal extention that mazda put at the end of the gearstick of my protegé 2001 , thank you for answering me! :-D

Thats so weird yesterday i was looking at mine and i want to remove mine. It makes the shifter so much longer!. I hav'nt attepted to remove it yet but if anyone has any ideas please let us know.2002 mazda protege es with forged pauter cennecting rods, forged cp 8.5:1 pistons, ARP head studs, streetunit polyurothane engine mounts, spec stage 3+ clutch, spec 6.8 lb. aluminium flywheel, mazdaspeed tig welded limited slip diff.
