    Clutch Work

Hi all. I am new to this site, and already I have gathered tons of information from the various posts.

I have a 2000 Protege with the 1.8L. I am in the process of changing the clutch and have a few questions.

Are there any tips on installing the new throw-out and pilot bearings?

Is there a certain way I should break in the new clutch (It is just a regular stock clutch)?

I have already resurfaced the flywheel and I have replaced all the seals (axles, etc.). Is there anything else I should be doing before buttoning the whole thing up?

    Thanks.

for break in, just give it a good 500 miles of city/around town driving before you start driving it hard. try not to slip it, dont shift hard at high rpms, etc. if you drive mostly highway, you'll want to extend that break in distance.
