i think it's the exact same thing..that oem 2.0 is **** w/ boost...or w/o, that's why they go boom, what all are your mods?
if you want to get meaty internals i suggest buying a kit online for $1000 and forgetting about it.Originally posted by 90prtegehave you heard a yaris drive by you??? it says immmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmgayyyyyyyyy!!!!Originally posted by TurproFk the family. Drugs and hookers take priority first

lmao they have turbos.
they're the same NA or FI. The rods are oh so tiny lolI live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

now accordin to my recent scientific vehicle studies with that turbo application u should be safe to run about 6 lbs on ur built motor. now on the other hand us bp boosters are safe to run 15lbs on stock internals92 mazda mx-3,escort gt engine, kia tranny, mazda 323 turbo,rx-7 vaf, spec stage 2 clutch, ,gtx ecu, fmic, cork sport downpipe, walbro 255,greddy bov,gtx injectors.

stock can handle 7psi, and blows up .00001psi over that lol, on a built motor the 2.0 can handle like 10-15..then you can go and strengthen your sidewalls and all of that....but boosting that 2.0 is fairly useless imo..bp is more funOriginally posted by 90prtegehave you heard a yaris drive by you??? it says immmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmgayyyyyyyyy!!!!Originally posted by TurproFk the family. Lot's of wrong info here.
First off...yes...any internals for the Mazdaspeed Protege will bolt directly into the N/A car. The motor internals are exactly the same. The stock FS blocks are good for 10lbs safely as long as you have a good tune. The stock rods in the FS are extremely weak so anything more than 10lbs and a conservative tune and you are asking for it. The stock MSP ECU fuel cuts around 12lbs on the stock turbo.
Now...for a forged FS motor...the amount of boost you can run is dependent on lots of things, but most importantly on the size of your turbo and how good you can tune it. 300whp on a forged block is not that hard to do and can be reliable as long as you aren't abusing the car every moment. Using a custom long rod/modified wrist pin piston setup helps a ton for more reliability by slowing the piston speeds down. It takes a lot of stuff to make all this work properly though besides forged internals and a turbo. There are several thousand dollars worth of supporting mods that you might as well figure in.
These guys sometimes seem to forget that the fastest 4 cylinder Proteges in the world run FS blocks.
