FYI,
If you have a 1.6L Protégé with manual transmission and what a light weight flywheel the 1.6L Miata which includes the 1.8L Miata light weight flywheel options well fit.
I've replaced the flywheel in my 99 1.6L Protégé with an Aluminum Flywheel from AASCO for use with a 1.6L Miata P/n 104862-11. I purchased the flywheel form Helltoe Automotive (www.heeltoeauto.com) for $355.00
Also note The stock flywheel wieghed in at 14lbs on the bathroom scale and the Aluminum one wighed 6lbs.
