IC piping from Ebay a good idea?

    Hey everybody!

Been a while since I posted here lol... anyways, I was thinking about changin out the gay plastic IC piping in my MSP. I looked at the Corksport kit but its a tad steep for me. I was considering maybe getting just the pipes from Ebay (kinda like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Turbo...Q5fAccessories) and maybe get a Corksport IC and the slim fan if needed. Now, I gotta admit, I'm a novice when it comes to turbos (my MSPs my first) and I don't make a point of buying performance stuff from Egay so is this a good idea? Other then the fact that its "universal" what else do I look for quality wise?

Thanks for the advice in advance! :D

thats the same kit my brother got and the clamps were way to small, so he had to buy all new clamps, and on top of that, the clamps he got werent even T-bolt like the ad advertises

and i would recomemnd welding as much of the pipe together so you have less couplers

they dont even list what size it is. lol. thats a big enough red flag to stay away right off the bat. if your on the stock turbo, anything bigger then 2 1/4 is gonna hurt you more then help you. if that kit was a 3 inch, you would be ****ed. lol.

id say keep searching till you find a nice 2.25 kit.

Damn Mono, is there a Mazda forum you're not a member off? Lol!

Thanks for the info guys, definitely helped me out! Btw, just curious, Any of guys have alternatives to the Corksport IC kit? I mean, I really like it, plus the instructions are surprisingly top notch but I seriously don't have $900 lol!
