My wife was complaining her car wasn't heating up quickly enough. After having removed and checked the thermostat and reinstalling it, I restarted the car and let it run, only to find out that the 2 cooling fans were running continuously . I removed the main cooling fan fuse and made the car heat up to 200 degrees F checking the coolant temp with a thermometer. The thermostat and pump are working as I'm getting swirl in the rad.
I figure I need to replace the coolant temp sensor...anybody have any suggestions or opinions on what else I should check?
is there just one?
Like many other cars I thought the thermostat was at the end of the top rad hose like my BG but it was at the end of the bottom hose near the water pump...
I had removed everything from the top!! ![tool](https://www.clubprotege.com/forum/core/images/smilies/tool.gif)
anyways ...the good thing is that I learned a bit more about the engine by removing and reinstalling... found the coolant temp sensor...
I do!
anyways... any feedback is appreciated...
